Indeed it's not always easy to tell chrome plating from other finishes if the parts are not side by side. Chrome plating is more reflective than a painted surface and more specular, the reflection is deeper, less distorted, more mirror-like than other finishes. A sign of a great chrome surface is that you can clearly see the clouds in the sky reflected in chrome plating. And there's a hard to define "glint" to top quality chrome plating that nothing else has to display.

Derby and Timer Covers:

The derby or timer covers are designed for use on Harley Davidson motorcycles with 5 hole derby covers and 5 hole timer covers. These covers are made of 6061T6 Billet Aluminum, the industry standard for quality parts.

 

Air Cleaner Inserts:

Custom designed air cleaner inserts that fit 1984 - 2007 stock big twin air cleaners. Your chrome plated club logo will show your colors. The insert is designed to add maximum affect with minimum effort and reasonable cost. With just a single allen wrench and two minutes you can add a club inspired logo to your Harley. The insert fits both the "football" style and older "round" style air cleaner covers. If you choose to remove the logo at a later time, simply unbolt the insert and the original appearance is restored.
